I have used this phenomenal 100% Organic Spelt Husk Neck Roll for more than 45 weeks. I have slept on buckwheat and millet pillows for decades, and after learning about spelt husk pillows wanted to try one. Not many places in this world sell spelt husk pillows, and none to the acme of perfection as EcoHealthLAB. I spent months on pillow research with multitudinous emails and multifarious questions to Martyna. After meticulous meditation, I decided on this neck roll as my soporific agent for night. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my purchase. Martyna is patient, kind, and caring, and made a few custom changes to my neck roll. Spelt instead of buckwheat and no zipper. Although her design with the zipper on the end and not lengthwise on the side, like many other companies, is superior for side sleepers, I asked for one with no zipper to avoid plastic (chemicals) and metal (to not attract or amplify EMFs). Her design for the neck roll, and the linen cover with a drawstring ribbon at the end, was ingenious. Although I’m not able to adjust the firmness with no zipper, Martyna filled to the precise firmness which is still perfect after almost a year. Some of my statements in emails to Martyna after receiving my spelt neck roll. ______ “It made it safe and sound. Your worked so hard and created such a beautiful neck roll Martyna!!! I’m really impressed by the quality and loved the smell when taking it out of the plastic. I’m very very pleased with the quality of the sewing. Especially the linen case, I love the black labels “Handmade in Poland.” Very Sharp! Amazing quality and no zipper. What a genius you are, putting the tie/ribbon instead of using a zipper on the cover. I saw that and was very impressed, I wouldn’t have been that inventive. Neck roll size looks really really nice. It feels so light and fluffy in the hand compared to what I image if filled with buckwheat. Very nice. I love the smell. It is much better than buckwheat. Better than any grass/country smell. I should know living in the country myself. Poland must have much better quality plants. Excellent craftsmanship and I really like the size. I did start using the neck roll. I wanted to sleep on it several nights before I gave my impressions. Absolutely Fabulous! Best pillow I’ve ever had. Extraordinary really. I don’t wake up with my ear numb. Perfect size. It’s like it just meshes with the body and there is no pillow. Like my head is just suspended. It seems to just instantly conform to my head and neck. It doesn’t shift much through the night and not much adjusting is ever needed. You know how picky I am, but I have no complaints or suggestions on how to improve it. Seems like every night it gets better and better. The first few nights, the strange thing was, it seemed as if it was so very easy to breath, not just in my nose or through my airways but in my chest. I’m not sure if it was the fresh clean pillow, or the biofield of the spelt. Whatever it is, it is great. I can’t thank you enough for an excellent neck roll. The only improvement is with the linen cover, just make it a bit bigger so it is easier to get on and off. The neck roll is better than what I’ve described because I’ve got a second cover and pillowcase over your cover, to protect the pillow and linen cover from me, as I have very oily skin. Without the extra layers I’m sure it would be even more comfortable!” ______ Those were my initial impressions when receiving and sleeping on the neck roll. Now almost a year later I’m still pleased with my purchase and thankful I took a chance. At the time of my purchase spelt husk items were not available in America I like the spelt husks better than buckwheat and millet. It seems no worse for cooling than buckwheat, and is not hot even in summer with no AC and hot humid air. It has a wonderful energetic feel, is light, fluffy, yet seeming supportive and needing less adjustment during the night. I don’t know if it will last as long as buckwheat husk pillows, but now after almost a year the durability has been excellent. No husks have escaped and no fine dust has been seen. The height is the same, it has not collapsed or lost any support. If one has read to this point you can see how thrilled I am with the wonderful neck roll Martyna made. I recommend that everyone should look at the products EcoHealthLAB sells and try whatever you may need.
